Congratulations to Ott on winning the Masters League Championship. This was not our day but we had a fine season because of a great bunch of guys who showed a lot of heart all season long. Hitting leaders: Bob Zubkoff ( 3-3 OTF HR 3 RBI), Charlie Oberlin ( 3-3 R ) Charlie Stoner ( 2-3 2R RBI), Rob Boehme ( 2-3 ), Ed Calderon ( 2-4 2R 3B), and Wayne Harris ( 1-2 OTF HR 2 RBI). Glass City Investigations 18, Andy & Barney's 22

Glass City Investigations
Glass city played their hearts out but lost to Andy & Barney’s. Jeff Wags played a great shortstop and slugged a grand slam. John Buehler took a hard hit at first base unable to see a throw in the sun. Wags and Randy Robinson collided at second base on a attempt to get a force out. The guys played their best. Hats off to them. Wish them the best of health in the off season. A beautiful evening for softball.

Andy & Barney's
ANDY & BARNEYS ended the season on a high-note, defeating Glass City in a wild 22-18 game to finish with a 4-12 record. It was a tough injury prone season for A&B, who only fielded the starting line-up three times.

Tech Support Services 9, Ott Plumbing 15

Tech Support Services
We just couldn’t keep up with the league champs tonight losing 15-9. We put up a good effort, but playing one short in the field, just couldn’t overcome the champs. Dandar and Bier were both 3/4, Murray,Dann,Mark and Tom all had two hits. A really good defensive play by pitcher Jim Dandar who skied at least 2 inches up to rob a base hit from one of the plumbers. Tournament next week.

Ott Plumbing
After the celebration Ott completed the sweep beating up on short handed tech team. Leading hitters Bruce Klostermier 2-4, Perry Chillus 4-4, Joe Pastorek 3-4, Tommy Duhart 2-3, JD Cox 3-4, Jon Berger 4-4, Reggie Trail 3-4, Daryl Berry 2-3, Sylvester Duran 2-3, Mike Hutchinson 2-3. Now on to try to win the league tournament and complete the sweep again.

Batanian Tree Service
In the season finale BTS combined solid defense with timely hitting to win 14-10 and avenge an earlier loss to Schneider Sons Electric. Rich Puckett was the star of this game going (5-5 2b 2-3b)and a nice sliding catch to end a rally. Other leading hitters were Rich Knapp (4-5) Mark Clair (3-5) and Gary Parthemer (2-2). Gary had to leave the game early due to a hamstring injury. Hopefully he’ll recover in time for the tournament.

Schneider Sons' Electric
In the nightcap the Sons' didn't string their hits together well enough and came up short, losing 14-10 to the Tree Men. Jerry Edmonson, Mark Murphy, Craig Mantey, Dwayne Nemire and Scott Walters all had 3 hits. Walters included an inside the park home run among his.
